Festive Spicy Almonds

Ingredients
- 20 g butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups whole blanched almonds
- Spicy mix
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions
- First make the spice mix, combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Melt butter and oil in a frying pan over medium heat and quickly add almonds.
- Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
- Drain excess oil. Add spice mix and toss to coat. Return to heat.
- Cook, stirring often, for 2 minutes or until golden. Spread on a tray lined with baking paper to cool slightly. Your choice serve warm or cold.
