Ingredients
- ¼ cup fresh thyme leaves, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsps mixed dried herbs
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 2 small cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 large cauliflower, cut into 1 ½ cm thick steak slices
- 100g butter, room temperature
- Salt & pepper
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and line a large, flat baking tray with baking paper.
- Mash the butter together with the thyme, dried herbs, cumin and garlic and a couple of grinds of salt and pepper.
- Coat the cauliflower steaks in butter on both sides.
- Heat a large frying pan over a medium-high heat and fry the steaks for 2 minutes on each side, then place in the baking tray.
- Roast for 15 minutes until the cauliflower is cooked through.
